How can I make cash for my used textbooks at MyBookBank.com?
It’s easy. Just enter your ISBN number and the condition of your book, and click the “Check Price” button. Confirm the book is the same one you want to sell by checking the picture, ISBN and title. Enter all the books you would like to sell, and then “Proceed to Secure Checkout” to finalize your order.

Can I price multiple books in one order?
Yes, you can add each of the ISBN’s and conditions of your textbooks. You can add as many books as you want to sell, and you will receive one complete order form with all the books, and one final order amount. And, to make it easier for you, just put all the books in one box to ship it out to MyBookBank.

What does the order number mean?
The order number is the reference number of your order. Keep the number for your reference in case you need to contact us with any questions, or the status of your payment. After you finalize your order, you will receive an email confirmation with the Order Number for your records.

Why aren’t you buying my book or buying the book at $0.00?
The list of titles/ISBN of books we are currently buying is constantly changing. Unfortunately, if our system indicates we are buying the book at $0.00 or that “we are not currently buying this book”, it means we are not able to give you any cash for this book. It basically means that for some reason, we are not currently purchasing that particular book at this time.

Can you explain the grading of books, "new", "used" and "ok"?

·         New: books must be in excellent condition, with no handwriting or highlighting, no visible wear, bent corners, dented corners, or other damage.

·         Used: Minimal handwriting, highlighting or marks and/or shelf wear. Missing CD or access codes.

·         OK: Significant amount of handwriting, highlighting or marks, and/or shelf wear. Missing CD or access codes.  

What happens if the books I send are not the same condition I thought they were?
When we receive your books, we double check the condition of each book you send. If the condition of any book does not match up with what you stated, we will send you a confirmation email with the price for the actual condition of the book at the time we receive the books. We request that you confirm your acceptance of our new pricing within 3 days, and if we don’t hear from you we’ll send the check out to you right away.

What forms of payment does MyBookBank provide?
At this time, we mail a check out upon receipt of your order. The check will be issued based on the name and address provided at the time you place your order.

Is it a problem if I don't enclose a packing slip?
• The packing slip is provided for your protection. We recommend that users print out the packing slip, and confirm the prices. When we receive the package, we’ll also confirm the prices are the same as the prices you were quoted when you place your order. To avoid any problems, we recommend you enclose the packing slip. • If you forget to enclose the packing slip, or cannot print a packing slip, it’s not a problem because you will receive an email from us at the time you place the order, and when we receive your package. If you have any questions or problems with the pricing, you can easily respond to any problems in the email.

Do I need to create an account?
No, we do not require an account set up to use MyBookBank. The only information we require if your name, and address, so that we can accurately issue and send a check to you. Also, we require email address so that we can easily communicate with you in case of any discrepancies, and to provide confirmation that we received your order.

Are there any types of books which MyBookBank does not purchase?
We do not purchase water damaged books, books missing pages, and/or international editions.
